| Portsmouth Overview In 1997, Huelin-Renouf Shipping integrated its UK groupage and general handling cargo operations in a purpose-built transit facility at Portsmouth in partnership with MMD (Shipping Services) Ltd, the Company's port agents and stevedores. With its central south coast location served by superb road and rail links with the rest of the country, Flathouse Quay at Portsmouth is ideally situated for our services and moreover conveniently accessible for our clients' road haulage.With excellent facilities and the latest equipment to hand, along with the skills of our specialist staff who know and understand customers' requirements, the Company continues to maintain the vital links with the Channel Islands that we have forged for so long. Local Operations Flathouse Quay offers a 'one-stop cargo centre'. Goods presented at the facility are received and loaded on a daily basis and, with our receiving/loading operations being just one hundred and fifty yards from the ship's stowing activities, we have complete control over cargo movements.Departing Portsmouth three times per week throughout the year the Company's own container vessel MV Huelin Dispatch is at the forefront in transporting cargo to the Islands. The service is further enhanced with the availability of a twice daily 'roll-on roll-off' operation located immediately adjacent to Huelin-Renouf's main cargo operations. Portsmouth operations can also provide a groupage service to and from the Isle of Wight, a service that has developed with steady growth and the support of our existing clients who ship to the Channel Islands.
